 John Terry
Should he stay or should he go as England captain? If go who takes his place?

 Re: John Terry
I don't want to be judgemental however, I do think that he has behaved pretty badly - I mean - his best mate!
Can't see Capello keeping him as Captain - he will have lost some respect from team-mates / England fans...not to mention FC himself...

 Re: John Terry
Talksport have gone on and on and on about this it`s been doing my head in but for what it`s worth I don`t think he can carry on as England Captain but the trouble is who do you give the armband too? If it has to be someone who is squeaky clean and a guaranteed starter we really are running out of options, the only person I can see is Gareth Barry. As for the others, well lets see Cashley Cole, He`s a Chelsea mate and he also can`t keep his pants on. Frank Lampard, well maybe but again he`s a Chelsea mate. Wayne Rooney, Temprement problem and some history with grannies. Rio Ferdinand, missed a drug test and got massive ban. Steven Gerrard. recently in court for beating someone up, found not guilty I know. Postman Pat has to make the descision and I don`t envy him because wharever he does will upset some people.

 Re: John Terry
I tnink Bridge needs to grow up...he'd split from his girlfriend, bogged off to Man City and left her and the kid behind. Terry steps in. It happens all the time. I doubt there is one male poster on here who hasn't seen this situation happen before in ordinary life. I certainly have many times. Blokes do this all the time. Wakey bloody wakey. Team bloody Bridge...grow bloody up. The personal issue here is surely between Terry and his wife....nobody else. Personal none of our business. As far as his captaincy of the national team is concerned, as Thetford has already said they are all pretty well as bad as each other. Go back a bit that includes Beckham, go back a long way and even the most highly thought of England captain of all, Bobby Moore drank like a fish. Capello will probably give him the elbow...do we have to have a captain. Presumably one of them can be appointed to toss the coin, and after that there are several club captains out there anyway..I don't believe it's ever down to one player anyway. Captains can be sent off like anyone else. There we go...let's not have a captain. Totally unnecessary!!

 Re: John Terry
LOL OldBob & Thetford!! Must confess having found out that the girlie was indeed Bridges ex, kinda throws a different complexion on things...yep you lads are pretty much all alike eh? I feel sorry for the missus, the girlie is now going to make loads of money - what do you reckon - £250,000 per story (isn't there about 5 of them?) I remember Rio's show (pranks) where JT found out about a (surprise) party because he'd gone through the other half's mobile phone - this changed my view of the fella, but you're right, it's par for the course for lots of guys - even if they aren't rich and famous...

 Re: John Terry
Now BB it transpires that Wynie Wayne used to lend his house to JT for assignations with one of the 5!! Hypocritical little prat. As for the girlie the latest count is 7 members of the Chelsea team past and present! Eidur Gudjohnsen being one of them, apparently tried to warn Wynie Wayne off her after they had split, but he went with her anyway. So what's the difference I wonder? I think I'll start a Team Eidur!! Sounds more and more like a load of adolescents in a mixer of the press's making to me.

 Re: John Terry
Great. Now we have a captain who has hardly played all season, and who 'missed' a drugs test and was banned for 7 months. Brilliant.

I think they should give me the job...seeing as how I am likely to be redundant soon!

 Re: John Terry
Never liked Terry, odious individual, from the night club brawl in Knightsbridge to the 20,000 a week pay rise he took for not joining Man City, Mr Chelsea indeed... He's a fine example of everything that's bad in the game today, too much money, too much praise and too much too say... If he was really world class he'd be playing in Spain or Italy by now but why stretch yourself when you can have it all without testing yourself. When he retires it's unlikely he'll put anything back into the game and the media and fans of the Prem will soon forget him... As for the World Cup, he'll be another in a long line of so called world class players who'll spend 3 weeks by the pool and return after the quarter finals Rant over...

 Re: John Terry
And if we don't at least get to the quarter finals - do you think we should round these lads up and have a public flogging (for unwarranted humiliation of the indigenous peoples of the land - and I don't mean the Welsh) in the middle of Wembley arena... Hmmm, or stocks - yeah, put em in the stocks and chuck tomatoes at them - that'll learn em...lazy little b***ers... Sorry...rant over....

 Re: John Terry
I`d make them go and live on a dodgy estate somewhere, it might give them an insight into the real world, especially when their Bentley gets trashed.

 Re: John Terry
There are some stocks in our local church which we could use on the little oiks. There are also some very large lumps of farm machinery around as well to deal with the Bentleys etc. We could all make a lot of money I reckon selling tickets for the event.

 Re: John Terry
Sounds like a plan OldBob...how much should we charge for the tickets, and do we give the proceeds to City Kitty / PL to spend on the pitch??? I have completely rewritten this (section) because I am a wuss who does not want to get sued for every penny that I do not have!!!

 Re: John Terry
Presumably Thetford you have by now negotiated a suitable contract with Sky. As I reckon as many as 70% of football fans are heartily sick of the behaviour of players and their obscene wages which are bankrupting the game, the choice of a venue large enough to accomodate all those who wish to witness this event has to be given due consideration. I suggest Northamptonshire as it seems to be the most central county in England. Those who do not wish to participate could be bussed out of the county for the duration. BB as there are on this site, posters who are without work, without money, maybe shortly to be out of work etc., I feel that at least some of the proceeds of ticket sales should be allocated to those who richly deserve it and who thought of the idea i.e. us. Call it administration if it makes you feel better, after all everybody else does. As far as the balance is concerned, and in fact what percentage the balance should be, this should be discussed by the full working membership of KIO, which of course would include all overseas members. All large items of farm machinery have been donated free of charge.
